After all the work Joey and I have put into the book, it’s awesome to be able to see it in my hands. Here’s a picture of for everyone

I want to take this chance to thank Joey, the O’Reilly team, the editors, and Adobe for all their help throughout the past year. Flex is an awesome technology and I’m hoping people find this book helps developers get introduced to Flex and gain insights into this new technology. Also, since this is a book published by O’Reilly, I thought I would share a picture with the man himself, Tim O’Reilly who I had the pleasure of getting to meet recently.

If you are looking to get your hands on the book you buy it from Amazon who should already have it shipping (Although the status of the page says it is not shipping yet)
Congrats Chafic — looking forward to getting my hands on it!
Congrats!
Hey Chafic - awesome! Congratulations on knocking it out! Looking forward to picking up a copy. Nice photo with Tim - was that from TED?
So now that the book is finished, we all want to see a kickass site for Atellis!
Thanks guys.
Robert, that picture is from enagage. I did meet Tim last year at TED, but got to know him better at engage this year and snaped this pic.
My copy supposedly comes in today. Congrats on getting the book out! I keep peeking out the window looking for the UPS guy…
My bosses just got the book for us and passed it to me to read! Thank you for your great book!! I really enjoy reading it
Chafic,
Got the book and it’s excellent! A permanent reference on my desk! Thanks very much for writing it.
Where can we get the source code used in the book? I checked the oreilly web site and can’t find it?
Thanks all for the great comments, the feedback and press on the book has been great.
Kevin: The source code was posted last week here http://examples.oreilly.com/9780596526894/ let me know if you run into any issues
A good book with some great nuggets, but the code examples seem to be an afterthought.
Is there anyway to get complete code examples? The code examples in the downloadable zip are just snippets. For example, the Chapter 18 code is hardly usable since you never show the entire application, other than snippets, and a picture of the running app.
Also, organizing the code samples in a directory structure would sure be nice.
